Julia Boorstin is an American journalist, now a Senior Media & Entertainment Correspondent for CNBC. She currently has a significant part in “TechCheck” on the networks (M-F, 11 AM–12 PM ET/8 AM–9 AM PT).
Prior to joining CNBC, Julia worked with “Fortune” magazine where she left to join CNBC. She joined Fortune magazine in 2000 and worked as a business writer and reporter. Moreover, in the same period, Boorstine covered a wrap-up segment “Street Life,” for CNN Headline News.

Julia came to meet Couper one on one a year after their first meeting. This time, Boorstin invited him to take a tiny walk-up together as he assists in the production of the movie titled “The Ex” of 2006. Furthermore, it is evident the lovely couple were in a long-distance relationship but they kept up with each other through the many trips they took together.
In 2006, during one of their trips to Morocco, Couper got to his knees after handing over his camera to a stranger and popped the question to her. This was the most exciting moment of their dating period and in December of the same year, Boorstin and Couper married. Their wedding ceremony was conducted in Beverly Hills, California with 113 invited guests.
