Bill Ritter is an American journalist and a television news anchor currently serving as a correspondent for ABC News program 20/20. Additionally, Bill who co-anchors the 11 p.m. news since September 1999 was named co-anchor of WABC-TV New York’s Eyewitness News at 6 p.m. in February 2001.

However, 17 months later (2001 February) he has added a position to co-anchor the evening 6 pm edition of the newscast. Moreover, upon Williams’ exit to the 5 pm broadcasts, he was joined by Liz Cho at 6 & 11 pm. Still retaining the position, his fellow co-anchor Cho was replaced by Sade Baderinwa on the 5 pm broadcast. Nevertheless, on September 13, 2019, Bill became the new co-anchor of the 5 pm edition with Baderinwa, taking the place of Diana Williams after her retirement.
