Furthermore, Williams represented a young eight-year-old black honor student who was a United States Congressman accused of attempted carjacking and also served as the attorney for the Fraternal Order of Police in Washington. From 1969 to 1978, he served as a member of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department and was later employed in the Federal Government as a Federal Special Agent from 1978 to 1987.
